MILESTONE

The Century business group was founded by Richard Phua in 1970 and operated from Port Klang, Malaysia.

It grew organically from the provision of customs brokerage and expanded services that included road transport, warehousing and ocean freighting.

1996 Arrow The Group was restructured under the parent company, Century Logistics Sdn. Bhd.
  Arrow Embarked on the concept of "business partnership" with its clients.
2000 Arrow Introduced the value added logistics services of procurement and assembly of electrical and electronic services.
2001 Arrow Awarded the licence to operate container haulage services.
  Arrow The group under Century Logistics Holdings Berhad became a public company and traded through Bursa Malaysia (The Malaysian Stock Exchange).
2002 Arrow Introduced the value added logistics services of Oil & Gas.
2003 Arrow Embarked on reengineering and reorganisation to enhance the capability of providing integrated supply chain management and total logistics services.
2004 Arrow Completed a comprehensive Quality Management Program and was accredited with the ISO 9001 from Lloyds Register and SIRIM QAS International.
2005 Arrow Pursued expansion overseas and established joint-ventures with controlling interest in Thailand, Sri Lanka, India and Dubai, U.A.E
  Arrow First company to be recognized by the Malaysian Government as an Integrated Logistics Company.
2006 Arrow Kicked-off the Trade Lane Development and Regional Cooperation spanning 12 countries (China, Thailand, Malaysia, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan, U.A.E., Mauritius, Madagascar, Kenya and South Africa).
