- Acquisition of 100% equity interest in Platinum Display Sdn. Bhd. (now known as Century LED Sdn. Bhd.)

1. Introduction
The Board of Directors of Century wishes to announce that the Company had on 23 June 2010 acquired two (2) ordinary shares of RM1.00 each from Ms. Teng Mee Leng and Ms. Ng Ah Phong respectively, representing 100% of the total equity interest in the capital of Platinum Display Sdn. Bhd.
Platinum Display Sdn. Bhd. had on 23 June 2010 changed its name to Century LED Sdn. Bhd.
Following the above acquisition, Century LED Sdn. Bhd. (formerly known as Platinum Display Sdn. Bhd.) will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Century.
2. Financial Effects
The above acquisition does not have any material effects on the earnings per share, gearing and net assets per share of the Century Group.
3. Directors' and Major Shareholders' Interest
None of the directors and/or major shareholders of Century and/or persons connected to them, have any interests, direct or indirect in the above acquisition.
4. Statement of the Directors
The Board of Directors of Century is of the opinion that the above acquisition is in the best interest of Century.
